Hi, I'm Chase Cordova

A portrait and lifestyle photographer based in the St. Louis, Missouri area, and the face behind C2 Photos.

With over a decade behind the camera, photography has grown from something I picked up as a teenager into something that’s become a core part of who I am.

My start came back in 2014 shooting high school basketball—learning how to anticipate moments, move quickly, and capture emotion in real time. That foundation pushed me into bigger opportunities, and by 2016 I was shooting advertising and branding content for New Mexico State and the University of New Mexico athletics. Working with collegiate programs gave me experience in fast-paced environments and helped shape the way I approach storytelling through images.

As I spent more time behind the camera, I started branching out—first into events, then into portraits. That shift is where things really clicked for me. Instead of just documenting moments, I found a passion in creating them—helping people feel comfortable, confident, and like themselves in front of the lens.

Since 2020, I’ve also been serving on active duty in the Marine Corps. That experience has had a big impact on how I approach my work—discipline, attention to detail, and consistency are things I carry into every session. At the same time, photography has remained a creative outlet for me, and something I genuinely enjoy putting my time and energy into.

These days, I focus on seniors, engagements, family sessions, and creative portraits—both on location and in the studio. Some sessions are simple and natural, others are more styled and intentional. Either way, my goal stays the same: keep the experience relaxed, guide when it’s needed, and create images that feel real and hold their value over time.

At the end of the day, I’m not trying to overcomplicate anything. I just want you to walk away with photos that actually feel like you.

If that sounds like what you’re looking for, let’s make it happen.
